Barcelona faced off against Sevilla at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure all three points on the road in La Liga. The Catalan club made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 15th minute thanks to Robert Lewandowski’s effort. However, Youssef En-Nesyri equalised for the home team in the 31st minute as the two sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

Fermin Lopez restored Barca’s advantage in the 59th minute as Xavi’s men ended up securing a narrow 2-1 win away from home.

LB: Joao Cancelo – 8/10

Cancelo was a positive influence at both ends of the field and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CM: Ilkay Gundogan – 7/10

He caught the eye at times with his contributions in the middle of the park and ended the game with an assist to his name.

CM: Andreas Christensen – 6.5/10

Christensen anchored the midfield well in the first half and was replaced at half-time.

CM: Pedri – 7/10

He managed to shine at times in the opponent’s half but there was no goal for him.

RW: Lamine Yamal – 7/10

Yamal made a few encouraging runs with the ball and was replaced after the hour mark.

ST: Robert Lewandowski – 7.5/10

Lewandowski caused a few headaches for the Sevilla defenders and managed to score the opener in the 15th minute.

He restored Barca’s advantage in the 59th minute and was a constant menace in the final third.
