The Topps Company announces its partnership with UEFA as an official licensed partner of UEFA EURO 2024™.

Starting a new era after over 40 years, from 2022 onwards, it now will be Topps who will be the exclusive partner: providing official stickers, trading cards and collectables connected to the UEFA EURO and other UEFA national team competitions.

Topps have also signed legendary manager José Mourinho as its EURO Ambassador to personally select the players that will be included in the Topps collections.

What better way to celebrate this partnership than by remembering his best moments?

🤩 The Special One

After Mourinho was appointed by Chelsea in 2004, his press conference antics were on show straight away after labelling himself “the special one” at his unveiling.

He certainly backed that claim up with five trophies in his first four years at Stamford Bridge, although it was later used to mock him when results started to drop.

🏟 The Camp Nou

On the way to their famous treble in 2010, Inter had to suppress Barcelona to reach the Champions League final (where they later beat Bayern Munich).

An incredible defensive performance – in which the hosts dominated shots and possession – sparked these wild full time scenes from Mourinho and his team.

In the humorous campaign film #TheSpecialSelection, Mourinho is presented as the official Sticker Manager of all the national teams for Topps and the Road to UEFA EURO 2024™ collections.

💦 The Water Works

Marouane Fellaini was often Mourinho’s go-to man at Manchester United and repaid the faith of his manager with a late winner against BSC Young Boys.

José clearly struggled to hold in his emotions and ran to the nearest thing available – a set of water bottles – before throwing them into the Old Trafford turf.

🧻 The Toilet Timer

When you have to go, you have to go, but José couldn’t afford Eric Dier that luxury when he sprinted to the bathroom during Tottenham’s game against Chelsea.

The Portuguese manager sprinted after his centre back and hurried him back onto the pitch just seconds after he sprinted off.

For Topps, José Mourinho will personally select the players that will be included in the Topps collections. First and exclusive products will be released in Summer 2022.
