Chelsea have just been briefing journalists regarding how much they want to sell attacker Christopher Nkunku this month in a dramatic story.

You get the feeling that this story is going to be one of those that turns into a bit of a saga, with both clubs briefing the media about it and likely end up playing some games as Chelsea chase the cash to sell unwanted Nkunku.

EXCLUSIVE!! Chelsea held an internal recruitment meeting on Sunday to make a decision on new signing this month!

The Blues have been linked with Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich, and they want to sign Nkunku from Chelsea. Maybe something can happen here with either player going in the other direction.

If you check X or any other social platform, you will see the journalists putting out the info given to them by the club.

The likes of Matt Law of The Telegraph, Ben Jacobs, Fabrizio Romano, as if like clockwork, have all put the same report out on Chelsea’s asking price for Nkunku.

Chelsea set Nkunku fee

As you will see from one of their posts on X, Chelsea value Christopher Nkunku at around £65m as Bayern Munich try to sign the forward.

So there you have it, Chelsea have set the price, and it will now be over to Bayern to see if they will be happy to pay it. It seems that the player is eager to make the move happen, but he will now need to two clubs to agree the fee, which could be a bit of a struggle to do as these things always are. It’s never going to be straightforward. I just hope it’s not another crazy transfer saga that ends up not having a good ending for all parties.
