NWSL continued Sunday evening as we truly head into the business end of the season. Let’s pick through the bones of what went down in New Jersey and Los Angeles.
A 99th minute Nealy Martin own-goal saw Seattle snatch a point away from home against Gotham.
Meanwhile, Orlando extended their unbeaten streak to 15 with a comfortable win against Angel City in Los Angeles.
Drama until the very last moment.
A true star in this league.
Being pulled back late was a killer for Gotham who could have pulled to within five points of the top of the league. Seattle, however, remain in the bottom two.
Another week, another Orlando win, and that means that they pulled level with KC Current at the top of the table. The race for first continues to be a scorcher.
NWSL returns next weekend, kicked off off by Portland hosting San Diego Friday evening.
