The reason why Luke Shaw is missing from the Man United vs Wolves match

Manchester United will be without left-back Luke Shaw for the match against Wolves at Old Trafford.
The left-back played in United’s last match which was the dramatic win against Lyon in the Europa League.
However, the English left-back is not a part of the team to face Wolves at home today.
Shaw made his return to training last month after spending four months sidelined with a serious muscle injury.
Since then, he has featured as a substitute in United’s last two games, coming off the bench against both Newcastle and Lyon.
It was anticipated that Shaw would continue his gradual comeback with another appearance from the bench in today’s match against Wolves at Old Trafford but the England international has been left out of the squad entirely, with young full-back Harry Amass handed a starting role at left-back.
“I can give you the example of Luke Shaw. In my mind, he was playing 30 minutes [against Lyon],” head coach Amorim told MUTV.
“But, because of the problems we had at half-time with Victor [Lindelof] and Nous [Mazraoui] and then extra-time, he did a very good job but a lot of minutes.
“He has to feel that load to rest now and then he will train for the next game.”

The likes of Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro and Diogo Dalot have been benched for the visit of Wolves as Amorim rotates his team to keep them fresh.
Teenage defender Tyler Fredricson makes his senior debut for United this afternoon, as manager Amorim makes five changes to the side that edged past Lyon earlier this week.
‘He’s really composed, he’s really humble,’ Amorim said of the 20-year-old defender.
‘Every training session he has with the first-team, he is really focused on every detail of training.
‘He’s really good on the ball and it’s a good opportunity for him.’
The Red Devils will face Bournemouth in their next match when Shaw is expected to feature.
