Sky Germany report today that Borussia Mönchengladbach and Freiburg are interested in signing Ghanian attacker Daniel-Kofi Kyereh from 2. Bundesliga side St. Pauli.
This is in addition to newly-promoted Werder Bremen, who showed interest last month, per Deich Stube.
Kyereh is entering the final year of his contract at St. Pauli but the Hamburg side are unlikely to let the Ghana international go for anything less than €3 million.
The 26-year-old scored 12 and created 10 in 29 league games for St. Pauli last season but narrowly missed out on the promotion play-off spot to Hamburg.
Kyereh doesn’t have any Bundesliga experience but would be an exciting proposition for the clubs that are interested.
Freiburg need to strengthen their squad depth with European football secured whilst Borussia Mönchengladbach are undergoing a rebuild after appointing Daniel Farke as head coach, replacing Adi Hütter.
