The Partenopei had already lost to the Rome-based club in Coppa Italia on Thursday, facing elimination in the Round of 16.

Tutto Napoli analysed Lukaku’s performance at the Stadio Maradona on Sunday, highlighting that the Belgian striker only made 15 touches in 90 minutes and didn’t register a single shot towards Ivan Provedel’s goal.

Furthermore, Lukaku only completed ten passes throughout the game.

It comes as no surprise that ratings from Italian media were quite poor for the ex-Inter and Roma star.

Gazzetta and Corriere dello Sport rated Lukaku 5/10, the same as TuttoNapoli.

The 31-year-old has played a key role for Napoli this season, scoring five goals and providing five assists in 15 appearances across all competitions.
