During the press conference following his first Leagues Cup match, the coach of the Mexican team indicated that he had a surprise weapon prepared for the upcoming game against Inter Miami.

But what is that secret weapon?

Claudio Arzeno is the ace of Serbian coach. Arzeno, a former Argentine soccer player, served as a technical assistant for Inter Miami from 2019 to 2021 under the management of Uruguayan Diego Alonso. During Arzeno's two seasons with the team, Inter Miami only reached the preliminary round of the playoffs once, failing to qualify for the postseason in the other season.

After his time at Inter Miami, the former U.D. defender Las Palmas shared a coaching staff with Paunovic on two occasions, first in Guadalajara and then at Tigres UANL, where they are still working together. In a press conference, the Serbian expressed that he would rely on Arzeno's knowledge to prepare the game plan for the match against The Herons due to his vast knowledge of the club and its players.
