AC Milan want to beat the competition to land Samuele Ricci from Torino and they are preparing an offer already, according to a report.
Niccolò Ceccarini provided an update on Milan’s plans in a piece for TMW, confirming that the management want to give Paulo Fonseca a couple more solutions as early as the January window, particularly in midfield.
Reda Belayhane and Morten Frendrup are names to ‘always to keep in mind’, in addition perhaps to a deputy to Theo Hernandez, but the strategy for June is to further increase the quality of the midfield.
The profile that is ‘liked more than any other’ is Ricci. It is a deal that seems impossible to do in the winter window but in the summer it is more realistic. Everything will depend on Torino’s requests, which are expected to be very high, also by virtue of the interest of Inter and many European clubs.
In short, Milan will try to do some groundwork before making a ‘significant offer’. In the meantime, Luka Jovic is a player that is attracted interest from the Granata as they look for another striker after Duvan Zapata’s injury, so they could make an attempt when the window opens.
