With another weekend of Major League Soccer behind us, it’s time to take a look at some of the best goals from matchweek seven.
Stoppage-time winners are always a treat, no matter how they come. But scoring from outside of the box on the half-volley to win a seven-goal thriller in the 101st minute will be one to remember for Driussi.
Who else but the GOAT? Messi marked his return to the Inter Miami line-up with a superb volley that found its way in off the post to pull his side level Saturday evening.
We go to Columbus and Aidan Morris, who had a rough night in the CONCACAF Champions Cup just a few days ago, but the midfielder redeemed himself with a sumptuous strike from the outside of the box.
It was a weekend full of strikes that picked out the top corner, and Ibrahim Aliyu’s strike in the Windy City was one of the best.
Seattle finally got their season going this weekend with a 5-0 drubbing of Montreal up in the north west. The best of the bunch, and our standout of the weekend, came from none other than Raúl Ruidíaz who picked out the corner from a severe angle.
Which goal do you think was the best? Let us know in the comments.
