They have played at their Sandgate Road home on the outskirts of Sheffield Crosspool since its inception, with the ground officially recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the “oldest football pitch in the world”. In 1867, the club made history by winning the world’s first football tournament, the Youdan Cup. The club still owns this historic trophy.

Bradford are one of 35 clubs to compete in all four top tiers of English football.
