His assistant coach and technical director Mike Sorber has also left the club. Terry Dunfield has been appointed interim head coach.

“Bob has been a consummate professional with Toronto FC and we thank him for his passion and tireless work during his time here,” said Toronto FC President Bill Manning.

“We are all disappointed that we were not able to achieve the results we expected.”

Former United States Men’s National Team coach Bradley took over The Reds in November 2021 and they won the delayed 2020 Canadian Championship during his time at the club.

But just 14 wins in 59 matches during his tenure resulted in a 13th-placed Eastern Conference finish last season, and three wins from their first 20 matches of this season has forced the club to make changes.
