Paris Saint-Germain had their eye on Dean Huijsen last summer as part of their defensive overhaul, but the Spanish center-back ended up at AFC Bournemouth instead. If PSG goes after him again, they won’t be alone.

Even after signing Willian Pacho, PSG could still be in the market for another center-back, especially with Milan Skriniar likely to make his loan move to Fenerbahçe permanent.

According to CaughtOffside, Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and PSG are all monitoring the 19-year-old.

Huijsen has impressed in the Premier League with his solid performances, drawing praise and catching the attention of top clubs. If PSG makes a move, they’ll have plenty of competition, and any team hoping to sign him will likely need to meet a steep asking price.

Could one Premier League club ramp up their interest?

Cristian Romero’s time at Tottenham could be nearing its end, with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid keeping a close eye on his situation. With a potential departure on the horizon, the London club has already identified five possible replacements for the Argentine center-back next season. According to Fichajes, one of those names is Huijsen.

Meanwhile, with several clubs interested in the young defender, Real Madrid is also exploring other options. Fichajes previously reported that Milan’s Serbian defender, Strahinja Pavlovic, has caught the attention of the club’s decision-makers.

His defensive ability, youth, and potential for growth make him an attractive option to strengthen the back line if a deal for the Spanish defender doesn’t materialize.

Pavlovic isn’t just an appealing prospect because of his talent—his price tag also makes him a smart target. While Huijsen could demand a hefty fee due to widespread interest, Pavlovic presents a more affordable alternative, making him a cost-effective option for Real Madrid.
