Tyrick Mitchell joined Crystal Palace from Brentford in the summer of 2016. Since then he has improved a lot and has emerged as a key member of the squad. He has made a name for himself and has interest from multiple European clubs.

Mitchell has featured in 23 games in the ongoing season and has three assists to his name. He is averaging 2.7 tackles, 0.3 interceptions, and 2.1 clearances per game (stats via whoscored).
The English left-back is physically strong, aggressive in nature and a reliable defender. He is extremely good in one-on-one situations and does timely tackles. He is quick with his feet and is a good carrier of the ball.
Tottenham Hotspur are short of a left-back in their squad. Though they have Destiny Udogie at their disposal, the player hasn’t been as good as he was last season. Hence, Ange Postecoglou would like to bring a new name next summer.
Tyrick Mitchell could be a good choice considering his talent and ample Premier League experience. He has been one of the best left-backs in the league over the past few seasons. With more experience, he is only going to get better and better.
As Mitchell isn’t keen on signing a new contract, he will be available for free next summer. Getting a player of his quality as a free agent isn’t a bad deal at all for any club. However, Tottenham Hotspur will have to beat the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona in the race. Ideally, the Spanish side is positioned much better than any other club for the player as things stand.
