Will Lankshear could end up staying at Tottenham Hotspur as Dominic Solanke is currently out injured, according to the BBC.

Spurs are going through a terrible injury crisis this season and their backline has been the most affected area.

Now they have another crucial player injured as hitman Solanke is set to spend some time on the sidelines.

Young attacker Lankshear is considered a top talent at Spurs, and it was suggested that he is expected to leave the club on loan in the ongoing transfer window.

However, that plan could take a different turn now that Solanke has suffered an injury.

It has been suggested that the 19-year-old forward’s loan exit is now uncertain as Spurs do not have enough squad depth in that position.

Brazilian forward Richarlison is back from injury and started against Hoffenheim on Thursday night but he has not even played 300 minutes of football this season.

It remains to be seen if Spurs will bring in new attackers this month or if Ange Postecoglou will trust Lankshear with game time in the league.
