Ange Postecoglou has a near-fully fit squad to pick from ahead of Spurs’ opening weekend trip to Leicester.

Just Richarlison remains unavailable from his outfield options after the Brazilian picked up a calf problem during the summer.

Fraser Forster has been a long-term absentee since last season but is now back in training.

Richarlison

Richarlison missed the last few games of the season and subsequently the Copa America due to a calf injury.

Postecoglou, however, confirmed the Brazil international will soon return to training when speaking before the 3-2 defeat to Bayern Munich last week.

“Richarlison should be back in the week – so we’ll get some of our top-end players back into the group which I think will help,” he said.

“Once we get back we’ve got 10 to 12 days before our first game and we’ll make sure we are ready.”

Potential return date: August/September 2024

Fraser Forster

Forster suffered a fractured foot last season but could make his return soon, Postecoglou has confirmed.

“Richy and Fraser have got back into training this week and both had a good block of training. With another week’s training before the start of the season hopefully, they’ll be in a good place. Everyone else has had a pretty good pre-season.”

Potential return date: August/September 2024
