Spurs have two first-team players sidelined before Qarabag and Manchester United clashes
Tottenham have only two injury concerns to deal with at present as the fixture list continues to ramp up.
It’s been a hectic period on the pitch of late for Spurs, who responded to back-to-back Premier League defeats by Newcastle and Arsenal by producing a dramatic late turnaround to defeat Coventry in the Carabao Cup before again coming from behind to see off London rivals Brentford 3-1 at home on Saturday.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have the small matter of an away clash with Manchester United now coming up next weekend, with that high-profile Old Trafford trip sandwiched by their opening games of the new-look Europa League against Qarabag and Ferencvaros, with Brighton then coming before an international break that ends with a London derby against West Ham next month.
Postecoglou will be pleased to have a relatively clean bill of health in his squad ahead of that frantic period, though the treatment room is not completely clear as things stand. Here is all the latest Tottenham injury news, with Yves Bissouma and Timo Werner having both shaken off injuries before the win over Brentford.
Wilson Odobert, Spurs’ somewhat surprise £25million summer signing from Burnley, has featured frequently in the early weeks of the season, though was forced off after only 18 minutes at Coventry.
Postecoglou admitted after that game that it looked like a “fairly significant” issue, with his latest update pre-Brentford confirming a hamstring injury that would see the teenage French winger spend time on the sidelines, pending further assessment.
“Wilson doesn’t look good, we are still waiting for it to settle down and get all the information but he will definitely be out for the next period,” Postecoglou said.
Potential return date: Unknown
Richarlison sustained an unspecified injury in training before the trip to Newcastle earlier this month and has not featured since.
It does not appear that the Brazilian forward will be back any time soon either, judging by Postecoglou’s latest update on Friday.
“He is a fair way off, I think you should stop asking me about him until I give you a bit of an update,” he said. “He has still not trained with the first team so he is still a bit off.”
