Ange Postecoglou says he will make changes to his Tottenham team for the trip to Fulham on Sunday.

Spurs came through an emotionally and physically draining match on Thursday night as they overturned a one-goal deficit from the first leg to beat AZ Alkmaar 3-1 and reach the Europa League quarter-finals.

Postecoglou must decide whether to start Micky van de Ven or Cristian Romero, who are back fit but need their minutes managed following injury-hit seasons. Archie Gray could come into the team, having not started against AZ.

In midfield, teenager Lucas Bergvall could be rested, given he appeared to cramp up towards the end of the 3-1 win over AZ on Thursday. Neither Rodrigo Bentancur nor Yves Bissouma started that game yet both are fit and could feature.

Further forward, Mathys Tel could continue to be used out wide, after Postecoglou left him out for the last two games but said recently that he sees him helping more as a winger than up front now Dominic Solanke is back.

Asked if he will make changes, Postecoglou said: “Yeah I think so, I think we need to. We saw how hard it is backing up. Sunday-Thursday isn't too hard but Thursday-Sunday is a massive task. It helps that we are at home and with us having a more healthy squad it's good for us to make some changes.”

There will be no involvement for Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison or Kevin Danso. The three players are targeting a return to action after the upcoming international break which begins after this weekend and runs until the end of the month.

Radu Dragusin is out for the season with an ACL injury.
