The former has a hamstring issue, while Romero will not be risked after sustaining a foot injury at the weekend. However, Romero is expected to return in time for this weekend’s game with Ipswich Town. Ben Davies should start in central defence alongside Radu Dragusin.

Spurs are light further forward in the absence of Richarlison, Timo Werner and Mikey Moore. James Maddison could be recalled to the side after scoring off the bench against Aston Villa at the weekend.
