Check the latest updates, gossip, rumours and deals as the summer window ticks on
Arsenal are said to have reached an agreement over Mikel Merino as they attempt to seal their latest major summer signing. The Gunners had already seen one bid for the Spain midfielder rejected by Real Sociedad, but a £29.8million deal is now rumoured to have been struck with sporting director Edu having personally travelled out to oversee negotiations. Arsenal have also been linked with other potential new attackers including Viktor Gyokeres, Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman and Victor Osimhen.
However, it is Chelsea who lead the race for Osimhen, having re-entered talks with Napoli as the Serie A giants again attempt to engineer a swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku. Atletico Madrid, meanwhile, apparently want to sign off on Joao Felix’s shock return to Stamford Bridge by next Wednesday in a move that would finally allow Conor Gallagher to complete his switch to LaLiga. Chelsea are also focused on exits, with Lesley Ugochukwu set for Southampton to kick-start an exodus.
Manchester United have been handed a new boost over Manuel Ugarte and are believed to have approached Nottingham Forest over Danilo, while Tottenham have completed a shock swoop for Wilson Odobert as Liverpool look to close a deal for Giorgi Mamardashvili and keep Luis Diaz away from Barcelona and Manchester City, who are about to sign Divin Mubama as West Ham eye Carlos Soler. Newcastle have now also lodged their fourth bid for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi. Follow all the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

But El Chiringuito claim that Dybala’s exit going through would lead to Spurs’ Lo Celso becoming Roma’s top target as a replacement.
A deal could be done for under £13m with Aston Villa, Fenerbahce and Real Betis also linked.

Thomas Frank is hoping Ivan Toney can stay at Brentford for one more season, despite speculation linking the striker away from the club.
Toney, who was part of Gareth Southgate's England squad during this summer's European Championship finals, is yet to secure a move away from Gtech Community Stadium ahead of the August 30 deadline.
Frank confirmed Toney will be available for Sunday's Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.
Speaking ahead of Sunday's match, Frank said, "The fresh news is he (Toney) trained with a fresh smile, looked sharp, good attitude, he's available for Sunday.
"Very much (satisfied to have Toney). As long as I have Ivan I am very happy and that's hopefully for another year because he's a fantastic player. We've had four great years together and we're hoping for another year.
"We know there's speculation and back and forths but let's just enjoy the moment and let's look one day ahead and see what happens.
"Ivan's biggest strength (is to be focused)...he's good at blocking it (speculation) out (and) focus on training. He's a positive character who enjoys football so it's quite easy for him to want to play."

Arsenal and Tottenham are set to miss out on Brighton winger Simon Adingra.
HITC claim both north London clubs made enquiries for the Ivorian following his good form on the south coast.
But it is now reported that Brighton have told all interested parties that they will not entertain bids for him to leave.
Spurs have, of course, today signed Wilson Odobert so look set to have completed their summer business for that position - but Arsenal are thought to be keen on a new forward. Kingsley Coman was linked last week.

Newcastle are set to see their fourth bid for Marc Guehi rejected.
The Mail report on the Magpies considering their options after a £65m bid failed to break open the growing saga.
Palace chairman Steve Parish said earlier in the week that Newcastle would need to pay "superstar money" and Eagles boss Oliver Glasner confirmed Guehi remains in contention to play in Sunday's match against the Bees at the Gtech Community Stadium.
"Well, yes, Marc trained today with us, we talked together," Glasner told a press conference.
"I have no other information, I have to look at my bank account to see if something has come in but it doesn't look like (it) so we plan (for the game) with Marc.
"He's our player, he's our captain and I can't tell you anything else."

Chelsea have emerged as surprise contenders to sign Jadon Sancho.
According to German outlet fussball.news, the Manchester United winger’s move to PSG has collapsed due to their interest in Desire Doue… and Chelsea are ready to swoop in.
The deal is said to be an initial loan with an obligation to buy for an unspecified fee next summer, plus two Chelsea academy players heading in the opposite direction.
It would certainly be a shock and surely be curtains for Raheem Sterling’s Stamford Bridge career. Sancho also occupies similar areas to Joao Felix, who is the subject of talks for a move from Atletico Madrid.
