Milan Futuro are the squad that has by far the biggest combined market value out of all the teams that will compete in Serie C, dwarfing the worth of both Atalanta U23 and Juventus Next Gen.

Milan’s U23 team project officially came to fruition in July after months of planning, and it will feature a number of talents that the management hope will quickly make the jump to the first team after testing themselves against senior professionals.

Daniele Bonera’s side are in Girone B (Group B) of the Italian third tier and all the players have a total market value of €32.53m, according to Transfermarkt. To put it in perspective, Ternana are second with €5.68m, with Virtus Entella the only other club topping €5m.

How is this value comprised? They have Francesco Camarda as a €10m player and Alex Jimenez as €4m, while Davide Bartesahi, Chaka Traore, Kevin Zeroli and Marco Nasti are all over €1m.

Divock Origi (€5m) and Fode Ballo-Toure (€3m) are listed which inflates the total, but then players like Matt Liberali, Max Ibrahimovic and Vittorio Magni have not been assigned a value.

To offer another comparison, Juventus Next Gen’s total market value is €15.09m and they are in Group C, while Atalanta U23 come in at €13.38m.
