Atletico Madrid defender Stefan Savic could ask to leave the club this summer.
The Montenegrin international is heading into the final 12 months of his contract in the Spanish capital with little chance of a renewal.
The veteran centre back has made just 18 La Liga starts in 2023/24 an he is reportedly concerned over his place in Diego Simeone’s plans.
The pair are expected to discuss the situation at the end of the campaign, with the club open to a sale, to avoid a free transfer exit in 2025.
As the situation continues to evolve, clubs in Turkey have shown an interest in Savic, and Atletico Madrid will sell, if they receive an acceptable offer.
As per the latest update from Diario AS, Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Trabzonspor are all interested in the 33-year-old, with approaches already made to his agent.
Savic’s representative Zarko Pelicic will request that Atletico Madrid release his client to facilitate a free agent move to Turkey next month.
