When the likes of Harry Kane and Serhou Guirassy taking to the field in the Saturday evening showdown, viewers watched with eager interest in over 200 FIFA member states.

Once again they got the chance to view it all as if they were at the very centre of the action, with RefCam providing footage of the encounter from the referee's perspective, just as was the case in the first Klassiker encounter of the season in November.

RefCam not only provided a fascinating angle on Der Klassiker, it gave fans a greater understanding on how decisions are made and how conversations with players and colleagues alike unfold as part of a range of new technologies this season.

There were over 30 cameras used in total to cover every last detail of the action from a stunning range of perspectives. Along with 26 individual cameras, three drones and an Aerial Camera System, there were two Cinestyle hand cameras to capture the emotions of fans at the packed Allianz Arena, as well as a Polecam Highspeed providing interesting shots of the goal frames.

Two cameras were also focused on the coaching zones to capture the reactions of Vincent Kompany and Niko Kovač to every twist and turn in the huge clash for their teams' end-of-season ambitions. English commentary, interviews and highlights clips were made available for viewers of international broadcasters, while a tactical feed and in-match analysis clips enriched the experience with several media partners.

Fans will also had the opportunity to have their say on the game by voting live for the Man of the Match in the Bundesliga app, with Thomas Müller eventually taking the gong with 45 percent of the ballot.

Among the many broadcasters showing the eagerly anticipated clash in over 200 FIFA member states, some 12 international broadcasters had their own teams reporting live at the stadium in Munich: ESPN (USA), Sky Mexico, Sky Switzerland, beIn Sports France, Canal+, Startimes (both Subsaharan Africa), beIN Sports Middle East, Viaplay (Poland), Eleven Sports Poland, beIN Sports MENA, SABC (South Africa), Azam (Botswana, Burundi, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe) and ZAP (Angola, Mozambique).
