Steve Clarke has called up Lyndon Dykes and Robby McCrorie to a Scotland squad for the first time for September’s internationals.
They take on Israel at home first before a clash against the Czech Republic, both of which will be played behind closed doors.
Dykes, who starred for Livingston last season which earned him a move to Queens Park Rangers, was born in Australia, who were also keen on calling him up.
Dykes joins Oli McBurnie and Lawrence Shankland as the out-and-out striker options.
But his inclusion in the Scotland squad means that he will be tied to them if he features on the field at any point in competitive action next month.
McCrorie, who is on at Livi from Rangers, will be back-up goalkeeper in the squad for the first time in his career.
