Raffaele Palladino looks set to stick with an attacking pairing of Moise Kean and Albert Gudmundsson for the crucial Conference League round of 16 second leg against Panathinaikos on Thursday evening.

La Viola have ground to make up against their Greek opposition following the 3-2 defeat in Athens last Thursday. A one-goal victory on the night will take the game to extra-time and possibly penalties. Fiorentina require victory by a two-goal margin if they are to end it before it gets to a shootout.

As it was for the 2-1 loss against Napoli in Serie A at the weekend, Fiorentina could stick with a 3-5-2 system again, led by Kean and Gudmundson in attack.

No major surprises are expected in midfield either: Daniolo Cataldi and Nicolo Fagioli are in line to start again, although Rolando Mandragora could come back into the team in place of Cher Ndour.

Kick-off is due at 20.00 GMT.
