The United States Men’s National Team is off to a flying start on matchday two of the 2023 Gold Cup.
After a lacklustre performance in a draw with Jamaica on the opening night of the tournament, the Americans quickly found their momentum against huge underdogs St. Kitts & Nevis.
With full control of the possession in the opening exchanges, the United States all but put the match to bed in a flash, scoring three goals in less than four minutes to put their dominance on full display.
Goals from Đorđe Mihailović, Bryan Reynolds and Jesus Ferreira saw the United States blow away their opponents in the blink of an eye.
Just 10 minutes later Ferreira slid home the a fourth to rub more salt in the wound.
The USMNT have never recorded a Gold Cup victory higher than six goals, but with so much time left to play, is there a chance they smash that record this evening?
