The Uefa Women’s Champions League returned with more mouth-watering clashes across Europe.
Here is what went down on Wednesday.
Scorers: Kerr 10′, 37′, 57′, 60′, Harder 39′, 72′, 88′, Svitkova 78′
Chelsea hosted Vllaznia at home and dominated the match en route to a thumping 8-0 victory.
The Women’s Super League side was able to take complete control of the tie within minutes thanks to their two attacking stars.
A lurking Sam Kerr in the box opened the scoring before getting on the end of a counter-attack for 2-0. Two minutes later, Pernille Harder then stabbed home a cross for 3-0.
Coming out into the second half the Blues continued to pull the strings as Vllaznia struggled to get hold of the ball with only 21% possession and one shot all game.
Kerr added two more to her name to bag four on the night by the hour mark while Harder also secured a hat trick of her own.
Then to add more misery on Vllaznia, Kateřina Svitková came off the bench and scored a thumping header.
The result means Chelsea are top of Group A with six points above Real Madrid (four) and PSG (one) while Vllaznia sit bottom of the group.
Scorers: Brand 11′, Pajor 76′
Wolfsburg were able to pick up all three points against Slavia Praha after grinding out a 2-0 win.
The German champions had a clear game plan set as the match kicked off and took the lead within the opening 10 minutes as Svenja Huth’s cross teed up Jule Brand for the opener.
And minutes later Ewa Pajor came inches away from a second but hit the wrong side of the post.
As time went on throughout the first half the visitors dominated the ball holding 67% possession and had 15 shots compared to three but things remained a one-goal game at the break.
Eventually, more relentless pressure in the second half eased any pressure off the visitors as Slavia Praha only registered one shot on target.
Late on Pajor redirected another pin-point cross from Huth to all but wrap up the win.
The result means Wolfsburg are top of Group B level with Roma on six points while Slavia Praha have zero.

Two heavyweights went head-to-head in Spain as Real Madrid faced Paris Saint-Germain with the points being shared after a 0-0 draw.
It was a tense clash from kick-off as both sides pushed for the opener with stars Caroline Weir, Jackie Groenen, Ramona Bachman and others all on the pitch.
Without lethal goal-scorer Marie-Antoinette Katoto, PSG had to look elsewhere for goals and Lieke Martens came the closest as her chip hit the woodwork before Madrid attempted a goal of their own but Olga Carmona was denied.
Things remained 0-0 at halftime with the balanced tie very much up for grabs still.
Coming out after the break, both teams attempted to ramp up the pressure but no clear-cut chances arrived despite a combined 27 chances on the night.
Madrid were the next to hit the woodwork but Esther González’s chance fell inches short.
The result means Real Madrid are second of Group A with four points, two behind Chelsea, while PSG are third with one.
Scorers: Eder 30′ (P), Schumacher 46′, Mikolajova 89′; Linari 75′, Giacinti 77′, Giugliano 80′, Lazaro 87′
Over in Austria, Roma pulled off a stunning comeback to beat St. Pölten 4-3.
The Italian club were the side controlling the match throughout the opening 45 minutes with the majority possession and more shot attempts, however, a mental lapse allowed the hosts to take a surprise lead.
Moeka Minami fouled Melanie Brunnthaler in the box which allowed captain Jasmin Eder to score from the penalty spot and one minute into the second half, Rita Schumacher bundled the ball home for 2-0.
But Roma continued to dominate the match statistically en route to registering 34 shots and eventually broke down the hosts.
Elena Linari pulled one back before Valentina Giacinti stabbed home a saved penalty for 2-2.
Manuela Giugliano’s long-range strike then had enough power to settle into the net for Roma’s third and Paloma Lazaro added another. All four goals were scored within a span of 12 minutes.
To make things even more interesting, however, St. Pölten did score late on to ensure things finished dramatically 4-3.
The result means Roma sit top of Group B tied with Wolfsburg on six points while St. Pölten are bottom with zero.
