Valencia striker Denis Cheryshev says three points are a must against Alaves on Friday night.

Cheryshev says the players want to give their fans something to cheer.

He told the club's website: "For us, playing at home is always an incentive, and even more so now that we have the fans back with us, so we have that 'push' that we need. On Friday, we want to give the fans the victory because it will be a difficult game and they will be with us from the start.

"We have basically played two seasons without them. The day of the Getafe CF game it was very noticeable, as we were a man down and they helped us to get that win.
