VfB Stuttgart closing in on the signing of Atalanta striker El Bilal Touré | OneFootball

Fabrizio Romano reports that VfB Stuttgart are closing in on their third striker signing of the summer as El Bilal Touré is set to join from Serie A side Atalanta.

The deal is said to be worth around €18m and the striker will sign a five-year contract at the MHP Arena. Only the final details of the deal need to be clarified.

This will be Stuttgart’s third striker signing of the summer after already spending €21m on Ermedin Demirovic and €26m on bringing Deniz Undav back to the club permanently.

How have Stuttgart suddenly got all this money? Qualifying for the Champions League has definitely helped, but the club has recently also received an injection of cash from Porsche as they bought extra shares in the club. Although this money said to be worth €20m, does not go straight into transfers reports kicker, it does make spending money on new arrivals a lot easier.

Stuttgart are still interested in bringing a new central defender to the MHP Arena to replace the departed Waldemar Anton.
