Arsenal are training ahead of their Champions League game against Dinamo Zagreb at Emirates Stadium tomorrow, but manager Mikel Arteta has some injury concerns and injury boosts ahead of the game as revealed in a video uploaded by Sky Sports.

Ethan Nwaneri and Riccardo Calafiori were both present in the session today and could be available for selection on Wednesday or for the trip to Molineux Stadium to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

However, William Saliba did not train with his Arsenal teammates, while Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu were also absent and yet to return from their injuries.

The France international centre-back missed the 2-2 draw with Aston Villa last Saturday due to a minor issue, but the 23-year-old will not be featuring tomorrow from the look of things.

Saliba has played 30 games across all competitions for the Gunners so far in 2024-25, and being without him right now is the last thing Arsenal want.

The North Londoners cannot afford to risk his long-term fitness by rushing him back into action, and giving him enough time to rest and recover makes plenty of sense.

With just two games remaining in the Champions League league stage, a win against Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday would help boost their chances of finishing in the top-eight of the 36-team league table, and they can pick up all three points without the Frenchman.

Arsenal are currently third behind Liverpool and Barcelona in the table after picking up 13 points from six group games so far, and a top-eight finish will land them a bye into the round of 16, which would see them avoid the two extra play-off round games involving the clubs finishing ninth to 24th.

They face Girona away from home in the last group game of the elite European competition and will fancy their chances of picking up the needed points in those two games to book a place in the top-eight.
