Watch the ferocious Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa finish to double Napoli’s lead against Verona and the moving dedication to fan who became the squad’s mascot.
The Partenopei were already 1-0 up after Giovanni Di Lorenzo’s curler bounced off the upright and ricocheted in off the back of goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipò, but then wasted numerous scoring opportunities.
They finally locked down the advantage when the Cameroon international hit a scorcher from outside the box to fly in at the near post.

Anguissa once again celebrated a goal by kissing the message on his wristband, but while until last week it had been to give hope to a little fan watching at home on television, this was the first goal since 13-year-old Daniele lost his battle with leukaemia.
The message on his wristband reads: ‘You will always be with us.’
The fan had first visited the squad during pre-season in 2023 and became a real friend to the players and coach Antonio Conte.
