Scott McTominay has touched down in Italy ahead of his €30.5m transfer from Man United to Napoli.

As can be seen in these videos, the Scotsman landed this morning as was reported as scheduled.

The academy graduate was mobbed by paparazzi as he left the airport.

But he was all smiles as he climbed into the car to take him to the Castel Volturno training ground.

According to reporter Fabrizio Romano, McTominay is expected to sign for Napoli today, although as we reported earlier, Corriere dello Sport insist his medical will not take place until tomorrow.

McTominay played 255 games for United, scoring 26 goals. 10 of those came last season when manager Erik ten Hag started to deploy him as a substitute attacking player.

He is a versatile player, having played centre back, right midfield, defensive, central and attacking midfield and as a striker for the Red Devils.

He’s also played 52 times for Scotland, scoring nine goals.

Napoli next play Parma on Saturday evening. With McTominay being match fit, there is every expectation he will make his debut for the Azzurri at that time.
