Vietnam Official Supporters Club branches celebrate Tet Holiday and Year of the Snake | OneFootball

In January, Official Supporters Club (OSC) branches in Vietnam got together in Hanoi to celebrate the Tet Holiday and the Year of the Snake in this year’s Vietnamese Lunar New Year.

All together, 40 members from the Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang and Hue branches travelled across Vietnam to celebrate the annual event.

The members arranged a dinner, games and a lucky draw for a Manchester City 24/25 home kit.

Vu Anh Tung, member of all three branches and part of the organising team said “We have been holding this Tet celebration for Vietnamese City fans for 10 consecutive years since 2016.

This unforgettable event also happened in the 10th year anniversary of our effort of gathering City fans to form the Supporters Clubs and official visit of Manchester City to Vietnam during the summer tour in 2015.”

Nguyen Kim Chi, Chair of the Hanoi branch celebrated the connectivity of the three branches: “We’re very happy to have many friends gathering in Hanoi, capital City of Vietnam to celebrate our traditional lunar new year.

“Many supporters came from various provinces in Vietnam, Central and Southern Vietnam, we were blessed with their presence and enthusiasm.”

After the event all participants had group photo taken to celebrate the occasion.
