Real Madrid are in complete control early on in the Spanish Super Cup final against Barcelona and they have VinĂcius JĂşnior to thank.
The brilliant Brazilian put Real 2-0 up inside 10 minutes with two quick-fire goals.
The first came via a Jude Bellingham through ball that split the Barcelona defence with ease. From here, Vini finished with ease and even dropped the “Siu” celebration made famous by another Real No. 7.
Just two minutes later, he doubled their lead, this time his fellow Brazilian Rodrygo teeing him up with a brilliant low cross across the Barça box.
He slid in and finished to put Real in complete control, and to make a bit of recent Clásico history – he is the first player to score twice in the opening 10 minutes of the famous clash in the 21st century.
The Brazilian’s night in Saudi just kept getting better as he scored from the spot in the final 10 minutes of the half to complete his hat-trick and make history once again.
Some showing from the winger. Cristiano would be proud!
