Head-turning footage stemming from the aftermath of Barcelona’s meeting with Real Betis on Saturday has come to the fore online.
Brazilian international Raphinha was for his part introduced off the bench last night, as Barcelona locked horns with the aforementioned Real Betis.
After he and his teammates dropped two points owing to an eventual 1-1 stalemate, however, the former Leeds United man could not hold back his anger.
Raphinha was spotted in a furious exchange with one of the fourth officials on the back of the full-time whistle, before being ushered away from the scene by manager Hansi Flick.
And as alluded to above, the 28-year-old’s tirade did not end there.
As Raphinha made his way from the field of play towards the tunnel, he was met by sidelined teammate Marc-André ter Stegen, who appeared keen to simply calm the Brazilian down.
Safe to say, however, that such efforts, initially at least, did not go according to plan.
As showcased in the footage below, Raphinha repeatedly pushed Ter Stegen away, taking out his evident frustration on the German:
