‘We talk a lot’ – Lamine Yamal reveals Barcelona boss Flick predicted his most recent goal | OneFootball

Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has confirmed that he is in regular contact with new head coach Hansi Flick.

Wide-man Lamine, for his part, is of course currently on international duty, with Spain.

Whilst a number of leading figures in Barcelona’s squad have already reconvened for pre-season training, he therefore remains unavailable to new boss Hansi Flick.

This, however, does not mean that the pair are not in communication.

In fact, quite the opposite appears to be the case.

Speaking in an interview with RAC1 on Friday, Lamine was asked whether he has yet struck up any sort of relationship with the latest installation on the Camp Nou bench.

And the 16-year-old went on to reveal that he and Flick talk ‘a lot’ through text messages, with the German tactician having even gone as far as to predict Lamine’s goal against France in midweek ahead of time:

“We talk to each other a lot via WhatsApp. Before the match against France, he told me that I was going to score and after the match we talked again. Even if it’s just messages, I’m happy to already have a good relationship with him.”
