West Brom, fresh off selling Brandon Thomas-Asante to Hull City, have put in a new bid for a midfield target.
The Baggies are bringing in under £2m from selling Thomas-Asante and boss Carlos Corberan is wasting no time in putting it to use.
Corberan is interested in Standard Liege midfielder Isaac Price and the Baggies have been attempting to strike a deal for him.
West Brom have now ‘sent a fresh bid’ for Price, according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, as they look to find an agreement and they are waiting to see what Standard Liege’s response is.
Corberan will hope that the proposal is enough to bring the former Everton star to the Hawthorns.
It has been suggested that Standard Liege value Price at about £1.6m.
With the new Belgian league season already having kicked off, Price has already turned out for Standard Liege this term.
Operating in midfield, Price played the full 90 minutes in Standard Liege’s 0-0 draw with Genk.
