What pundit saw against Arsenal that convinced him Chelsea will not make Champions League

Nobody who watched Chelsea – Arsenal on Sunday will have walked away very convinced about either team, and Ian Wright was in fact has been convinced by it that Chelsea won’t make the Champions League.
“I watched Chelsea against Arsenal and I thought they were really poor in every aspect. Obviously, they’re very much missing Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson and obviously, Cole Palmer didn’t play,” Wright said on the Kelly and Wrighty Show.
“They haven’t got anyone to stretch the team or anyone to control the game so as you can pass to these players who were doing so well at the start of the season. They didn’t look like they were going to score yesterday and there’s no way you can be confident as a defender playing in front of Robert Sanchez.”
“There’s no way sitting here right now I can see a scenario as to how they are going to do it [get into the top five]. For me, if I’m Newcastle or Bournemouth or Brighton or anybody, I’m thinking this is the best chance we’ll have because I don’t think Chelsea will make it.”

We’d love to call Wrighty wrong, but we’re seeing all the same problems that he is. To make things even worse, the upcoming fixtures we face are going to be an absolute battle.
Brentford away is tough, Fulham away is tough, Everton at home in an early kick off is tough. Liverpool, Newcastle, Man U and Nottingham Forest away to end the season are ALL tough. The only “easy” game we have left is against Ipswich, and they beat us back in December!
A lot of things have to be solved in this international break or we’ll be in big trouble.
