Deadline Day is edging ever closer
The January transfer window is poised for a thrilling conclusion as the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham are all working hard to complete deals before the deadline.
The biggest names involved look set to be Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins - who has been the subject of a rejected bid from the Gunners - and Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel - who is of interest to the likes of Spurs and Chelsea, but is also being tracked by Arsenal and United.
West Ham are also keen on bringing in a new striker and have Brighton’s Evan Ferguson in their sights, while Marcus Rashford’s United exile could see him move above and team-mate Alejandro Garnacho is attracting plenty of interest.
The winter transfer window opened on January 1, 2025, and in the Premier League runs until 11pm GMT on Monday, February 3, 2025.
The EFL transfer window closes at the same time.
The European transfer windows all also close on February 3, 2025, though the times vary.
La Liga also have until 11pm UK time on Monday to complete their business, but the Bundesliga window shuts at 5pm, it's 7pm for Serie A clubs and the Ligue 1 window shuts at 10pm.
The summer transfer window will open on June 12, 2025.
