Who do Rangers replace Philippe Clement with? | OneFootball

As is abundantly clear Rangers manager Philippe Clement and his time at Ibrox are surely coming to an end.

Ibrox Noise has been reporting or perpetuating this notion since around early 2024 and is disappointed that it has indeed been proven a correct opinion that Clement was the wrong man to be Rangers manager.

Of course the majority of supporters did not agree at the time and swore by Clement but unfortunately that was the wrong angle.

There is a speck of revisionism now whereby most of the same fans are claiming they never trusted or liked Clement which is absolute and utter falsehood but it doesn’t really matter.

What does matter is who replaces him.

As Ibrox Noise has talked about many times the right man at the right time can make all the difference as Walter Alex the little general Walter again and even Giovanni and Gerrard not to mention Souness all showed.

Forget about budgets forget about how much is there to spend, Walter only had £2 million in the first window and immediately made Rangers the best team in Scotland.

We would not dare to suggest who we think is the best replacement for Clement because we will surely get it wrong yet again. We endorsed Giovanni fully but he wasn’t backed properly by either fans or the board at the time, but we definitely got Michael Beale and Clement wildly wrong.

McInnes? Potter? Gerrard? Muscat?

We’re just glad we’re not making a choice.
