Wigan Athletic’s out-on-loan striker Josh Stones has started to draw interest from a number of unnamed EFL and National League clubs, who are preparing bids for him, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.
Stones is currently in the middle of his second loan spell at National League club Oldham Athletic where he has found good goalscoring form.
He has scored three goals for Micky Mellon’s team in four matches and has set up one more for his team-mates.
His contributions have helped Oldham to stay in the hunt for promotion from the National League this season.
However, Stones is nearing the end of his short spell there and will return to Wigan in January.
Stones could go out yet again with interest arriving from multiple clubs of different divisions in England.
A number of EFL and National League clubs are eyeing moves for Stones in January when he returns to Wigan.
It now remains to be seen where the 21-year-old’s future lies during the second half of the season.
