Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has on Tuesday provided an insight into the chances of youngster Lamine Yamal being afforded a rest in the club’s next outing.

Barca, of course, are primed to return to action tomorrow night, in a La Liga meeting with Getafe.

The Blaugrana will head into proceedings in Catalunya’s capital brimming with confidence, fresh off another dominant domestic triumph over the weekend.

Owing to a 5-1 drubbing of Villarreal at El Madrigal, Flick and co. maintained their perfect La Liga season record, with six wins from six on the board.

The fixtures are continuing to come thick and fast for the Blaugrana, though, who will play out their third matchup in the space of a week on Wednesday night.

Speaking to the media this afternoon, the subject of potential rotation in his XI was in turn put to the aforementioned Hansi Flick.

Specifically, the German tactician was asked whether attacking sensation Lamine Yamal could be afforded a long overdue rest against Getafe.

Flick, however, played down the chances of as much, in explaining:

“Resting Lamine tomorrow? Lamine doesn’t look like he needs a rest. It’s important to note that we’re playing at home and we have to start with a fantastic starting XI.”
