However, Gary O’Neil still needs a winger and the club have been working on a deal for Ajax’s young winger Forbs.

After continuing negotiations with the Dutch club, a deal has now been finally agreed to take the player to England.

Wolves will sign Forbs initially on a season-long loan deal and will have the option to make the move permanent next summer for a €13.5m fee.

The player is now travelling from the Netherlands to undergo his medical with the Premier League club before sealing the move.

Forbs played in England with Manchester City’s academy and is now on his way back to the country.
