Wisła Kraków are searching for a new manager this evening, having called time on Adrián Guľa’s time in charge of the club after 251 days.
Slovakian coach Guľa was dismissed by the Wisła Kraków board little more than 24 hours after his side fell to a 1-0 defeat to Stal Mielec on Saturday. The loss was the Biała Gwiazda‘s fourteenth of the season, and they now sit in 13th in the Ekstraklasa – only one point above the drop zone.
Since taking charge at Reymonta 22, the 46-year-old has collected only 21 points from 21 games, but does leave Wisła with an upcoming last-eight tie in the Puchar Polski against fourth-tier Olimpia Grudziądz.
Guľa’s last victory in charge came against Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza, just before the winter break. He had been contracted with the club until the end of the 2022/23 season.
