Wolverhampton Wanderers are not interested in signing Sheffield United duo Anel Ahmedhodzic and Gustavo Hamer, according to the Express & Star.

After successfully abiding by last year’s PSR rules, Wolves have shown intent in the summer transfer market.

They have already brought in three players in Rodrigo Gomes, Pedro Lima and Tommy Doyle on permanent transfers, and Jorgen Strand Larsen on loan.

They do not appear to be done though with more players being linked with moves to Molineux.

The Sheffield United duo of Anel Ahmedhodzic and Gustavo Hamer have been mooted as both being of interest to Wolves.

However, those claims linking the two players with the Premier League club are wide of the mark and the club hold no interest in either player.

Sheffield United will be expected to wheel and deal in the transfer market over the coming weeks as they prepare for the Championship.

Whether the Blades manage to keep hold of Hamer or Ahmedhodzic by the time the new campaign kicks off remains to be seen.
