Wolves interested in a move for Burnley’s Maxime Estève | OneFootball

According to Fabrizio Romano, Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in a potential transfer for Burnley’s Maxime Estève (22). The Premier League club have asked the Championship club for the potential conditions that would need to be met in order to sign the former Montpellier defender.

Estève only joined Burnley on loan in January. The Lancashire club paid a fee in the region of €12m to sign the former France U21 international from the Ligue 1 club this summer due to a clause in his loan contract. The 22-year-old made 16 appearances for the Championship club last season while on loan.

Other Premier League clubs interested

Wolves are not the only club showing an interest in the French centre back. Fabrizio Romano reports that the defender is one to watch in the summer transfer window with other Premier League clubs also showing an interest in acquiring the services of the Montpellier academy graduate.
