Christmas in second place. The Women's Primavera have had a magical 2024 and close out the year in second place at the end of the first half of the season. After suffering a defeat in the derby against Inter, the squad put in an immediate response to beat Parma at home. This win sees Zago's side jump to 24 points, chasing down Juventus at the top, who have seven more.

The reaction is appreciated, coming with the win over Parma signed by striker Longobardi, bagging a brace with a goal per half. In a very tight league like this one, it's fundamental to maintain consistency and to try keep up with the top spots, to ensure a spot in the playoffs and a fight for the title at the end of the season.

The Scudetto is still a living memory for the Women's Primavera, having secured the title on 11 May 2024 in the final against Sassuolo at Viola Park. It was a huge achievement, joined by winning the Viareggio Women's Cup in February for the second year running.

The girls' journey will recommence in January with the big game against Sassuolo, scheduled for Sunday 12 at the PUMA House of Football. This will be the first step into a 2025 that we hope will bring us the same joy as 2024. The signs are positive, there's not much more to do than support our young Rossonere.
