Incoming Real Madrid head coach has earmarked a member of the midfield ranks at Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart as a transfer target for his new squad.

The aim, in turn, is to bring in a fresh face before the upcoming Club World Cup.

And if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then one such option appears to have emerged in the form of the aforementioned Angelo Stiller.

As per Real Madrid insider José Felix Diaz of Marca, Stiller’s deep-lying playmaker profile is considered a perfect fit on the part of the incoming Xabi Alonso.

The German international is understood to have a price-tag in the region of €40 million on his head.
