Kenan Yıldız admits he does not think about the Juventus No.10, but he wants to stay with the Bianconeri beyond the summer.

The Turkey international was introduced as a substitute in the second of a 3-3 draw against Bologna on Monday and contributed to a memorable comeback by scoring a late equaliser.

The 19-year-old has scored two Serie A goals this season. The first one came on his debut as a starter against Frosinone, so DAZN asked him which goal was better.

“I don’t think about the most beautiful goal. I think about what it counts,” the Turkish starlet replied.

“This is for the team. It was a difficult match at the beginning, but I gave everything to the team.

“This season was long. For me, it was the first season [with the senior team],” he continued.

“I tried to give everything. I scored two goals and I hope for more. This is all for the fans and my coaches.”

Yıldız is expected to sign a contract extension with Juventus and recent reports in Serie A have claimed the Bianconeri want to give him the No.10 after Paul Pogba’s predictable exit.

“For me, Juventus means very, very much. I give everything to the team, I work hard every day, and I hope to be here,” said Yildiz.

“Of course, No.10 is a very important number, but I don’t think about this at the moment; I think I am here for the team and everyone. I want to thank my parents who are at home, I love you so much. And my friends as well.”

Yildiz has scored four goals in 31 appearances across all competitions this season and his contract at the Allianz Stadium runs out in June 2027.

Yildiz joined the Juventus academy from Bayern Munich in 2022 and had already played under Paolo Montero in the Bianconeri U19 squad.
