Zeki Celik aiming to return vs Lecce

Roma are hoping to have Zeki Celik back at Claudio Ranieri’s disposal for the match against Lecce.

In addition to Devyne Rensch and Paulo Dybala, both of whom have been sidelined with injuries, Zeki Celik is also at Trigoria’s infirmary.

The Turkish full-back suffered a first-degree injury to the conjoint tendon of the biceps femoris in his left thigh, which forced him to miss the return leg of the European Round of 16, as well as the away match at Empoli and the match against Cagliari.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the player could return to the squad for the away match at Lecce after the international break.
